For the Blender project I want to have a running theme of sea creatures and underwater, with lots of bright colors and silly looking animals. I want my main piece that I’m focusing on to be an octopus that sits on your head with moving tentacles, potentially with some seaweed too. There might be an underwater background or at least some floating bubbles around. The second, smaller piece I want to do is have a bunch of fish swimming around the person. If I don’t use bubbles for the octopus one, I’ll put some here. I want to model these fish off of some fish I’ve previously drawn, and model everything else in that style, too. For my last filter I want to have two floating jellyfish, potentially with some star fish. Since I want the octopus one to be my main filter, I want to make the second two a little more simple in terms of movement, scale, and detailing of the modeling. In case the second two are too complicated for the time we have, my backup ideas are to make a filter involving a crab, seashell, lobster, shrimp, or a sea urchin. Each filter will have lots of bright, saturated colors, and each creature will have bug eyes to make them look more friendly and playful.
This project will be my first time using Blender. I’ve used another 3D modeling program called Womp, but Blender seems to be a little more complex in the sense that it has more functions that allow you to make more intricate models.
